GOAL’s 2022 application process to commence January 17
– Over 187 programmes available from 15 institutions
GOAL will open its online application portal effective January 17, 2022, to allow applicants to register and apply for programmes, which support their academic and professional careers.
GOAL has partnered with eight (8) new institutions to meet the challenges and demands of transformation and expansion of various sectors in Guyana, including oil and gas, engineering and construction, and information security.
Against this backdrop, Guyanese 18 and above would have the opportunity to select from over 180 programmes ranging from Certificates to PhDs at 15 institutions.
Among the new master’s degree programmes available are Criminology & Social Policy; Web Design and Development; Agile Methodologies and Digital Transformation; Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies; Geotechnical Engineering and Foundations & Disaster Risk Management and Climate Governance.
Meanwhile, PhDs programme being introduced this year are Philosophy; Education; Business Administration, Management, and Public Health.
Applicants are encouraged to get prepared
GOAL’s Director, Professor Jacob Opadeyi, encourages potential applicants to follow the instructions carefully when completing the online application form.
“It is important to submit only the documents requested and ensure they are properly scanned and uploaded to the online portal,” he advised.

The online portal opens from midnight, January 17, 2022 and closes on February 18, 2022 at midnight.
